I was pleasantly surprised by the fully functioning kitchen at Dorpslogement Pieterburen B&B. It was such a bonus to be able to cook my own meals instead of searching for restaurants every day. The host even left a delicious breakfast for me in the kitchen when I had to leave early on my last day. The location, cleanliness, and helpfulness of the host were also top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hostel was a great deal. the rooms were basic, but clean and modern. One of the best aspects was having a kitchen to use, which was well equipped and handy for making a cup of tea. One of the worst aspects was the shared shower, which could be improved and was sometimes busy. the hostel had steep stairs, which could be difficult for some people to climb.

There was nothing I didn't like.

There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby and it is conveniently located for access to Schiermonnikoog ferry. the room was basic but clean, small, and stuffy with shared bathroom. Service was okay but not very welcoming. Breakfast was average but the shared fridge was a plus.

The lack of credit card payment can be an inconvenience for foreign visitors who need to withdraw cash from a different location.

The location was perfect for discovering the beautiful north-west Groningen area. We also appreciated the bike storage and rental service which made exploring the area on two wheels even more convenient. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of organic and minimal-packaging options available, including delicious black ryebread. We found the facilities clean and comfortable, and the decor trendy and stylish.

We only stayed for one night and would have loved to have more time to explore the area and enjoy this lovely accommodation. The stairs were a bit steep, which could pose an issue for some guests, but overall, it was a minor inconvenience and did not detract from our great experience.
